Honk!

We went to watch Jamie in her Stage School’s production of Honk! It was better than I expected with the first half much stronger than the second. Apparently the older pupils have staged and produced the whole thing themselves, and in a remarkably short time too. I believe just three weeks practice and a single dress rehearsal! Given that, it really was quite well done. Still, as I mentioned a little more practice on the later songs would have made a difference. I took a few photos without flash which seem to have turned out well. I’ll post them in the gallery shortly.

hey me again, yes i saw jamie today in drama, whilst adam was teaching her. i think the honk pictures are brilliant, and it was exciting to see them. yes i agree about the later songs, we got better over the performances but we tried. it was good fun to do and although it took hard work, it was well worth it. well hopefully speak to jamie next week to say ive seen the website and how excited i was to be on it. thanks

My middle school is doing Honk this week. I saw pictures of your costumes, I think ours are better. Why is a duck in white. MOST ducks are yellow. what were your eggs made from. We are using music theatre of Wichita’s eggs. I hope you had fun with the preformances. I am the part of Ida. I am having alot of fun with the show.
