I’ve just finished Jean M Auel’s The Clan of the Cave Bear, this evening. It truly is an awesome book. She does an incredible amount of research for each book, but the story alone is worth it. Absolutely fantastic.
Recommended.
On to the next — The Valley of the Horses.
There is a very interesting article over at The Globe And Mail entitled Is there a ‘Geek’ Syndrome?. A well researched piece on the high incidence of high-functioning autism or Asperger’s Syndrome in Silicon Valley.
Hmmm, some of the indicators feel remarkably close to home…

For some unknown reason, after this mornings log rotate, I’ve not got any Apache logs today. Rather, I have the log files but they are empty. That is going to play havoc with my statistics!
I’ve logged a support ticket with the help desk.
Another full house today. Paula came round to do Jan and Wendy’s hair. Then Graham, Jackie, Thom and Bekki came. Everyone had a good time. I think everyone except Jamie and Bekki ended up getting something done to their hair! The kids played while the adults chatted.
Steve, Kim, and Megan are in Disneyland Paris this weekend. We got a text (SMS) message from Steve, they were enjoying themselves even though they had some rain.
We talked about plans for next weekend which is Anthony and Amy’s wedding reception.
