Chester Bennington Hospitalised/Hospitalized
“Chester Bennington, vocalist for Linkin Park was admitted to a Los Angeles
area hospital last Friday afternoon after an attack of severe back and
abdominal pains. Bennington remains hospitalized as doctors are still
trying to determine the cause of these ailments.
“All touring and video shoot plans in Europe have been put on hold this
month as we make sure Chester fully recovers,” states a spokesperson for
the band “we wish him the best, and will keep everyone posted as to his
condition.”
My best wishes are with him and his family.
Update 11/06/2003:
Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington is out of hospital but details of his illness are still a mystery. Chester himself thinks it was simply a virus.

Anyways, Chester I hope you are all right now, even though this news is about 6 month old, and we all know that you’re okay now. But Chaz, I just hope you get the surgeury for your Hernia soon, because no matter how important LP’s music and fans are to you, you’re still the most important person in your life and you need to take care of your body!!! I think the fans would rather see you healthy and safe than see you in concert doubling over in pain. And think about Sam and Draven….so umm, lol yeah just hope you take care of yourself and get that operation soon! Diana, assuming your question was serious, I’ll answer.
This site is my personal journal (or blog). I happened to report the story of Chester being taken to hospital back in early June as I am an LP fan.
Then in October this site somehow managed to get high up in the search engines when searching for Chester and/or Linkin Park. Since then I have been getting more and more comments on this story.
This is just one story out of (currently) 940. Most of which are not about Linkin Park (only 16 mention them).
However this one little story, which consists of two quotes from some other site (I think MTV) and 9 words of my own has turned into a little fan page or forum or something.

in september my mother was hospitalised.she had a stroke.
now she`s angry all the time(her brain isnt right)now she bleats

all of them and have 2 cds(meteora,live in texas).
i cant say im your no1 fan because i heard other ppl they

Omg, i’m so glad that he’s better, i mena honestly Linkin Park and Chester Charles Bennington are like my life, they sell out or quit singing, u dont know how devasted i’ll be, if Chester dies, i’ll be worse than devasted, my whole world, my whole Linkin Park lover career…all shattered…i’m sure i wont be the only person to grieve…there’ll be heaps others like Samantha and Draven…but i’ll be the one that will cry the most…why i love u? The first time i heard Meteora on sale…they advertiser played the chorus of Somewhere I belong and i thought to myself:
“Who could have such a talented, rich and beautiful voice?”
Then later on our music video shows, they played the video clip to Somewhere I belong…i was enchanted…i wanted to learn more about the band…i just had to…and the following weeks i got the internet and started researching on you, i found loads of information and ask me a question about him, you’ll find that i’ll be able to answer every single one of them. At school, i was so depressed, i mean with all my schoolmates insulting me…provoking me about a crush…it gave me a hard time alright and all u people out there who are probably thinking, why on earth would she get upset at that? Well your wouldn’t know it if you’ve never experienced it. I bought the album after quite a whil ’cause i didn’t have enough money at that time, i thought to myself, these are exactly the words that i want to say to everyone, including my crush ’cause by that time he dumped me and went for another girl, i fell in total love with it, there were so perfect, i never knew such a band could express feelings that way…so emotionally…thats my long story short…so i may not sound like the exceptional Linkin Park or Chester fan right now, i’ve got a bloody cold, but i’m actually so warm now that i’m staring at a picture of Chester…get well Chaz!!! love with heaps of kisses…Kelly.

Hey again chester, even though i can’t go to the projekt revolution tour, my friend and i just recorded a demo cd for columbia records and my dad knows the owner so i hope that’s gonna be sort of a “connection” for us so we don’t have to deal with a bunch of secretaries. So if we get a record contract, I’ll tell everyone my celebrity crush and hopefully meet you.
And ever since i got both of linkin park’s Cd’s, i drew a conclusion that the world needs to stop singing about love it’s getting kinda old and there’s more important stuff to sing about. Chester Bennington: I took a copy of Hybrid Theory with me when I was deployed to Iraq. It’s the only CD that I took. I listened to it daily. You have one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard. Music engenders so many emotions; however, you translate emotions into an awesome expression through your singing in a way that I haven’t experienced from many other vocalists. I feel it in every song. YOU are awesome. HYBRID THEORY helped me make it through my deployment. I was so glad to get back to the States and find METEORA. Linkin Park…I am so glad you guys are around. I hope to someday see you guys in concert. I know you probably don’t read these, but if you do you must get a kick out of it. I hope you see all the luck that you have come across. I know you must have soo much pain both emotionally and physically, only this pain that you have, so many others are going through it too. They’re just a little less vocal about it(lol). I just hope that you appreciate the escape having music a profession. Just be prepared. So many people love you now but you still have a number of years before you die. although becoming a rock star is kinda signing your own death wish. But I bet it’s still worth it. Continue with the life you have created, it can only last for soo long. You can always hope to be like Nirvana. They were only famous for a couple of year. Hey all of Linkin Park, I’m not sure whether this is actually going to be directed to you lol! Anyway I was on the web looking for a suitable LP wallpaper for my desktop (you guys rock) and I came across a page where it recorded Chester Bennington’s years at high school and when he did a play in his underwear, jabbing a firestick!!!
This seems hardly fair that everyone loves Chester and no one mentions the rest of the band like Joe, Brad, Rob, Phoenix, thoguh Mike does get some attention lol!
Whoever’s reading this (that’s if you guys are) could you tell Mike that his rapping is great the words go through my head everyday at school, i cant ignore it! When me and my mum fell out over a row, I felt angry and i stormed upstairs; turned on Hybrid Theory’s Points of Authority. I felt a lot better after that because all the words reflected on how I felt; especiaoly the “MY LIFE, MY PRIDE IS BROKEN!!!”

just letting the world in on sum goss,
LP played their second show in Melbourne Australia last night which was insane.. Chester took a stumble during their second song and broke his wrist. No one thought too much of it, but a couple of songs in, they stopped and announced it.
they went off for a few minutes, but came back out. Chester announced to the crowd, “Its gonna be broken in an hour so I might as well continue.”
The show was crazy, he couldnt move his arm but gave it 110%. pure showmanship .. pure professional.
