Chester Bennington Hospitalised/Hospitalized
“Chester Bennington, vocalist for Linkin Park was admitted to a Los Angeles
area hospital last Friday afternoon after an attack of severe back and
abdominal pains. Bennington remains hospitalized as doctors are still
trying to determine the cause of these ailments.
“All touring and video shoot plans in Europe have been put on hold this
month as we make sure Chester fully recovers,” states a spokesperson for
the band “we wish him the best, and will keep everyone posted as to his
condition.”
My best wishes are with him and his family.
Update 11/06/2003:
Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington is out of hospital but details of his illness are still a mystery. Chester himself thinks it was simply a virus.

Anyways, Chester I hope you are all right now, even though this news is about 6 month old, and we all know that you’re okay now. But Chaz, I just hope you get the surgeury for your Hernia soon, because no matter how important LP’s music and fans are to you, you’re still the most important person in your life and you need to take care of your body!!! I think the fans would rather see you healthy and safe than see you in concert doubling over in pain. And think about Sam and Draven….so umm, lol yeah just hope you take care of yourself and get that operation soon! And I just want you and the rest of LP to know that your music is truly amazing, you’ve been my favorite band since Crawling came out. That song is still my favourite song of ALL time. And you are all so talented, and devoted to your music and your fans. I hope Linkin Park never ends! Your music’s helped with my depression a lot, and Chester and Mike’s writing skills are just unbelievable, almost all the songs relate to something I’ve felt before. Diana, assuming your question was serious, I’ll answer.
This site is my personal journal (or blog). I happened to report the story of Chester being taken to hospital back in early June as I am an LP fan.
Then in October this site somehow managed to get high up in the search engines when searching for Chester and/or Linkin Park. Since then I have been getting more and more comments on this story.
This is just one story out of (currently) 940. Most of which are not about Linkin Park (only 16 mention them).
However this one little story, which consists of two quotes from some other site (I think MTV) and 9 words of my own has turned into a little fan page or forum or something.

I heard about your illness and all and glad to see you back up on your feet and moving…your idol man…we got our own band starting up and i’d kill to have a voice like yours..your lyrics mean alot and they tell alot to alot of people and especially to me..linkin park-live in texas…great cd, great dvd…ya know how to get rockin’ at a concert…and for the rest like mike you got your rhymes beatin too. hope ya come up with more songs and a brand new cd cos it would hurt to see you and mike and the rest of linkin park not come down with a new cd…keep it real and to all you lp fans…KEEP REPRESENTIN!!!

hey chester man.i just heard about your illness.i`m so glad that
u r right now!
i hope u understand this mail.i`m from germany and only a 13
(almost 14)-years-old girl.so i cant speak english very well.
i dont know but if you`ll read this i would be very happy.
i tried to write my own songs but i am not very talented in
music.i cant read notes.i cant sing.i cant play an instrument
(sometimes i try the keyboard but…yes…iz horrible!)my english
isnt very good but i understand your songs very well.
in september my mother was hospitalised.she had a stroke.
now she`s angry all the time(her brain isnt right)now she bleats
all the time at me.and she keeps saying that i`m ugly.
so i very often take my dog out for a walk.then i go into the
forrest and sing your songs as loud as i can.i know almost
all of them and have 2 cds(meteora,live in texas).
i cant say im your no1 fan because i heard other ppl they
have all the t-shirts,posters,cds and were at lots of concerts.
i wasnt at a concert of u yet,but please,please come to germany,bremen.
if come,i will buy a ticket.
