Matrix Revolutions

I went to see Matrix Revolutions tonight. I can without doubt say I loved it!
After the frankly mediocre Reloaded, I was pleasantly surprised. I thought this was a great film, they got the mix of jaw dropping special effects and almost bewildering plot revelations just right. I won’t spoil the plot for anyone who hasn’t yet seen it, but I will say that the final events and explanations around Neo, Mr Smith, The Oracle, et al were quite satisfactory.
There were some issues which stretched the credulity of even a hardened Sci Fi fan like me, but that’s no surprise given the foundations of the Matrix world.
All in all recommended.

  1. I saw the Matrix Reloaded last night with my girlfriend, her brother, his girlfriend and his friend.

This movie is based more in the real world, which was a little bit of a dissapointment for me because I loved watching the gang do super-cool moves complete with high-speed action sequences in the previous two. However, the movies storyline justifies this. The movie contains the best visual effects and computer graphics of any other movie ever made, without a doubt. The ending is satisfactory, though it left alot to the imagination… like, “what happens next?”

Something tells me that we’ll get another Matrix, I hope so… if not, that will be a dissapointment. I thank the Wachowski brothers for expressing such imagination in their movies… I hope we see more of this in the future.

    Go see it.
