Journalized Theme 2 Beta 2

I have released a minor update to my Journ­al­ized Theme ver­sion 2. This fixes issue where is didn’t save your options. Some people have repor­ted this prob­lem. Hav­ing found and fixed the bug, I can­not under­stand how it ever worked, unless WordPress’ get_settings() func­tion has changed.
I have also included a fix for the slashes prob­lem in the column head­ers, and a couple of minor cleanups. You can get it from here: journalized-theme-2.0-Beta-2.tar.gz or journalized-theme-2.0-Beta-2.zip .

Remem­ber this is still beta code. It is a minor update to the pre­vi­ous release. I have a lot more code writ­ten, but it is not com­plete or tested yet.

Updating To WordPress 2.0.5 Problems?

Hmmm… I upgraded to WP 2.0.5 today (yes I know I’m late) and it appears to have marked some old posts as new. Hence they may well appear in the Dashboard.

I haven’t done any­thing to prompt this other than upgrade. I’m not sure what has caused this, but I think one or two other people had sim­ilar prob­lems. Sorry for the confusion.

Update: I just thought of some­thing I did change.
I changed the blog descrip­tion: I changed “not quite so daily thoughts” to be “not-quite-so-daily thoughts”. I won­der whether that is enough to trig­ger the prob­lem with the soft­ware at WordPress Planet?
