Another year has passed for WordPress. This birthday comes just in time for the fantastic announcement from Matt about the future of Automattic and WordPress.
WordPress goes from strength to strength each year, and it has come an incredible distance since the beginning. Matt and the team at Automattic really do a fantastic job.

WP is great blog script!
Yes I have used WP but I think it needs some speed. The pages loads slowly.
I agree with you that Matt and the Automattic team did a great job.
I would also like to add the contribution of the community and all wordpress fans who wrote themes and plugins that we enjoy for free.
