Another Bug Fix Update to Journalized Theme

The Journalized theme has been updated to version 2.7.1. This version fixes a couple of bugs in WordPress versions earlier than 2.7 (thanks Bill and Mike Walsh) and I’ve added Author posts links wherever necessary.

I’m still working on the translatable version of the theme. There may well be another release soon.

  1. Hi!

Could you be kind enough to try the Flowers template? I tried to set up the header graphic to center and it is stays to the full width, no matter what i tried.

On the other hand the full width works except that the script it ads at the far right a small repeated truncated version to fill up the space!

    Thanks

    Thanks

    Sorry… I don’t understand this:

Hack. Set $post so that the_date() works

    I use month/year archive

    Anybody can help me?

    A lot of thanks.

  3. Hi Pepito,
That code (from the default theme) sets up the $post variable so that calls to the_time() further down the code will work. Without it, they will not produce the correct output.

But, I’m not completely sure, are you having a problem with your month or year archives?

    Mike

  4. It was a permalink structure problem.

    year/month/post name —  — ->works

(I had a personalized permalink structure)

    Now it’s all OK

A lot of thanks from Valencia, Spain.

  5. Hello :)

Sorry for my bad english language.
Your theme is great, thank you !

    Worpress version : 2.7
    Theme : journalized 2.7.1

Please, I have a small problem.
When I place the widget WP-dTree 3.5 (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-dtree-30/) on the right column of my blog, everything works fine. If I try to place it on the left (top or bottom), the opening of categories and subcategories does not work anymore :(

This problem happens with Maxthon / IE / but also Firefox.

Many thanks by advance for your help.
Have a nice day and happy Christmas ;)

  6. Hi,
I’d be very grateful for a translatable version of the theme, as I would like to translate it to Hebrew.
In addition, is there any way you can help make the transition to right-to-left easier?

Is it possible to make the theme use customizable colors? I think letting users pick each of the eight (or so) colors used would be very appreciated.

    Thanks a lot!

    • Hi Itamar,
I have released the translatable version of the theme as version 2.7.2. I do not know whether the theme will automatically support a right– to-left layout.
I will investigate what it might need to do. Would you be willing to help with this?

      Mike
