I did finish Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban last night. It was every bit as good as I remembered it. I wanted to move straight on to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire but it seems Jamie took it into school recently and left it there. She forgot to bring it back (as I asked) when she came home from school this afternoon.
Back in work today and it was raining so hard this morning I decided to forgo cycling. I’ll try to get back to it tomorrow. Busy as usual. That’s about it, it wasn’t quite as hot in the office today but it was more humid to compensate!

As usual Jamie and I went swimming this morning with Steve and Megan. Jamie did really well today swimming eight ‘widths’ of the pool. (Actually about 4/5ths of the width — a narrow strip is roped off for serious swimmers.) I was very proud of her. She doesn’t normally exert herself at all. So todays effort was very very good. Well done Jamie!
When we got back from swimming, we all sat out in the sunshine for a while. I go too hot and went in to read. I finished Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets last night and am most of the way through Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I’ll probably finish it tonight.

Hmmm… I got a couple of new (to me at least) Linux distros today on the cover of a magazine; Morphix 0.3.5 and
EnGarde Secure Linux Community Edition 2.0. I really need to get back to using Linux a little more often. Maybe I should give one of these a try. Morphix is a live CD so it should be a breeze to have a play! Time to give the servers sat under my desk a kick!

After finishing Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by JK Rowling on Wednesday, I realised I wanted to read the whole series again from the beginning. So I’ve just finished Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone this lunch time and now I’m on Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
